Happy New Year and Reflections on The Past Years

Posted under General by TDI Guru on Saturday 27 February 2010 at 5:17 pm

Not long ago, the clock struck midnight and it is now 2010 where I live. Some places have not quite reached midnight yet, but will soon.

I want to wish everyone a happy New Year. If 2009 was not a good year for you, I hope this one will be a lot better. If 2009 was a good year, I wish you continued happiness for 2010.

Sometime this year I will turn 42 years old. Therefore, I wanted to share a few thoughts about life for anyone who has the chance to read this.

Life is short! It goes by very quickly. I still view the events of twenty years ago as if they were yesterday and I have to remind myself that it really was twenty years ago.

There are many paths that people walk in life. We all live different lives and some of our lives are really, really different than the lives of others.

I remember times of stress. In fact, I count the current period of my life as one of the most stressful ever. Stress can do strange things to people. Your thought process can change. You can find yourself doing and saying things that you would not normally do.

Therefore, my first thoughts would be to remind each person reading this to take time to relax. Get rid of the stress in your life as best you can. One time, I simply let all of my thoughts go through my mind and I just kind of watched them for about 20 minutes. When I got up, I felt 200% better.

Meditation is a very good way to relax and unwind. I have tried several different kinds of meditation in my life. To this day, and in my opinion, the best one has been that of Falun Dafa. There is nothing like it.

As time moves forward, this is my message to a stressed out world: Relax! Take a break from your hard work. Try to keep positive happy thoughts. Negative thinking makes us stress that much more.

There are many problems to solve in this world. Become a great problem solver and you can accomplish much.

Here is some possible help on dental health issues:

1. Oramd

2. hydrofloss

3. Therabreath

I wish you a happy and prosperous 2010.

Coffee May Do More Than Just Stain Your Teeth!

Posted under General by TDI Guru on Saturday 27 February 2010 at 5:17 pm

Many people, myself included, like to drink coffee. However, when it comes to the health of your teeth and gums, there are a few things you should know. The most obvious is the staining effect of coffee on your teeth. But this, in and of itself, does not necessarily pose a true risk to the health of your teeth or your gums – unless you consider staining to be indicative of plaque build up.

One thing that has helped many to reduce plaquing is the hydrofloss The power of this device has helped many people!

.Coffee has some other problems to consider, however. Coffee is an acidic drink. You know that if you have ever felt the effects of coffee on an empty stomach. This acidity is harmful to the health of your teeth. When the environment in your mouth becomes more acidic, calcium and phosphate can be pulled directly out of your tooth enamel thereby weakening the tooth structure and perhaps eventually leaving you open to a cavity.

Therabreath mouthwas is a pH balanced rinse.  It might be able to help rebalance an acidic mouth envirionment.

The mouth can naturally repair this damage, but it requires the environment to become more alkaline or basic to facilitate the process of rebuilding enamel through your saliva. When you consider how many people drink soda or coffee all day long, you begin to imagine how complicated this problem becomes. If you are always putting acidic things into your mouth, when will the enamel have a chance to repair.

Oramd might be helpful in killing bacteria. Many types of anaerobic bacteria may have a hand in causing dental disease.

Perhaps at this point you are suddenly realizing the reason you have spent so much money at your dentist’s office. If this situation remains chronic, where do you think this path will lead to in the end?

Looking For A Quality Pre-Owned Compact…These Three Vehicles Are A Must!

Posted under General by TDI Guru on Thursday 25 February 2010 at 11:35 pm

Three available optoins for used cars that are very inexpensive, are the Chevrolet Cavalier, the Honda Civic, and the Pontiac Sunfire. All three of these cars were manufactured for many years and have different models available. If you´re looking for something reasonably priced one of these three cars could be the right option for you. If you´re looking for a used model of any of these three cars it´s best to do research on important factures such as safety, reliability, common problems with certain models, resale prices, and the quality of the parts used to make the car. There are also many GM repair manuals to help you through routine maintenance and fixing older models of these cars.

The Chevrolet Cavalier was manufactured by General Motors between 1980 and 2005. Through all of the years that this vehicle was manufactured, it only went through one major change, in 1995 when the second generation was launched. The Cavalier was very popular and one of Chevrolets most sold cars between those cars because of the low price and the ease of repairs with a Chevrolet Cavalier Haynes Repair Manual. Although the Chevrolet Cavalier is a very affordable car and is known to handle well, there are many disadvantages to this car that could lead drivers to choose another competitive car at a higher price. The Cavalier is not known for being a very safe car. In most crash tests it recieved a low rating. Also, this car was made with very low quality parts, and the seats are not comfortable. Along with the seats not being very good in the interior, the whole interior is not very high quality. A few advantages that the Chevrolet Cavalier has are it´s great fuel economy, and in later models it comes available with Chevrolet´s OnStar service and XM radio. If you´re looking for something that is going to be high quality, than the Chevrolet Cavalier is not the car for you.

The Pontiac Sunfire is was also manufactured by General Motors between 1995 and 2005. This car was only ever made in one generation and never offered any complete upgrade. This car was made very cheap and is not reliable at all. Safety ratings for the Pontiac Sunfire were always low and the materials used both in the interior and exterior of the car are very inexpensive and it looks that way. The seats are also very uncomfortable in this car. A few advantages that this car does have are an OK engine, later models it comes available with OnStar, and most maintenence is easy with a Pontiac Sunfire Repair Manual. After 2003 the Pontiac Sunfire was equipped with a better engine than previous years. If you´re looking for a used car, it is not recommended that you buy the Pontiac Sunfire because of it´s very low quality.

The Honda Civic was first manufactured in 1973 and it continues to be a very popular car today. This car thrives in fuel economy, performance, and all around reliability. If you´re looking for a Honda Civic you have a very good chance of finding exactly what you want because this car is offered in a lot of different models to give you the choice of what you want in your car. The Honda Civic is a very smart choice for a used car because it is all around good quality, a very affordable car and repairs only require a quality Honda Civic Haynes Repair Manuall. Many consumers have chosen this car for many years and there are very few complaints about style, quality and performance.

If you´re looking for a good used car that you can maintain with a quality automotive repair manual, your best bet between these three is the Honda Civic. The Chevrolet Cavalier and the Pontiac Sunfire are not very good quality cars in their class.

One of the most trusted vehicle makers in these times is the General Motors Company.  It has really produced oodles of vehicles already.  One of its most recent car models as a matter of fact is the Chevrolet Tahoe.  This model is in fact under the category of full-size SUV from GM.  It comes from the full-scale Chevrolet Blazer.  It has a superb layout or structure with a four-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, broad wheelbase, and front engine on its exterior part.  It also utilizes a modern V8 power engine, which can guarantee you of a long driving experience once you have used this auto.

The Chevy Tahoe is basically a type of car meant for any kinds of individuals such as an entrepreneur or an easy going person.  But are you aware that this automobile is also being used for legal considerations or to capture bad guys?  Yes, this is for real since the Tahoe model is now being used by the Rio Grande do Sul State of Police and the Sao Paulo State of Police in maintaining peace and order in their locality.  These 2 State of Police groups really use 2 editions of Tahoe.  The 1st one is the four-wheel drive edition or the Special Service Vehicle edition, which is being utilized for virtually all functions apart from high speed and hunting responses.  The second one on the other hand, is the two-wheel drive or Police Pursuit Vehicle edition used for all police purposes – be it for prompt hunting or search operations.

New Car Buying Advice

Posted under General by TDI Guru on Thursday 25 February 2010 at 11:35 pm

Who doesn’t love getting a new car? Although the thought of actually buying the car can be as stressful as it is exciting. New car buying will bring thoughts of car salesman and dealer tricks to mind. Here is some good car buying advice to protect you from car buying scams and get a good deal.

Most people would never guess that the day and time of month you go to dealer would matter. There are prime times to buy a new car that could say you money and stress. The times I recommended are the times when a car dealership usually gives you a better deal than others. They say the best day to buy a car from a dealer is on a weekday, but the middle of the week is better. The car dealer’s busiest time is the the weekend. When a car lot is busy they seem to be very picky on what car deals they will make which are usually the most profitable. Pick a Wednesday to go buy your car and you will find that are much easier to deal with when they are slow.

In addition to visiting the car dealer on Wednesdays, the best time is the last business day of the month. The car business is all about numbers and units. Salesmen in the car business get paid a commission of the profit on their sold cars. They also get paid a bonus for selling certain numbers of cars on top of their commission. To ensure a good deal on a new car just go to the dealer on the last day of any month and you will find many sales people to help you get that good deal.

The pay plan of the sales manager is similar to that of a salesman and pays them more for selling more cars. The month end and especially the last day will cause the sales managers and salesmen scrambling to sell a few units. The car dealer and sometimes the manufacturer has monthly sales contests for entire dealerships. At any car dealer at the end of the month, everyone is doing anything they can to sell more cars.

The car salesman is trained to make as much as possible on the car you buy, so you still need to watch them. The end of the month will always prove to be the best time to get a good deal. The month end will bring a volume bonus that can be a good bit of money for those in the car business. There are times that they will pass on the car buyer scams so sell a car and get their month end bonus. You really can save hundreds or thousands by selecting the right time to go buy a new car. It is a good idea to take a car buying checklist with you to the car dealer to cover all the car buying steps .
